Actual Atompunk News?

I don’t often, if ever, use question marks in my headers as I don’t report news or speculative concepts. However, this sounds quite interesting and I had to post it.
Ridley Scott has announced that he’s returning to the works of Philip K. Dick with a four-part BBC-1 miniseries based on The Man In The High Castle. The miniseries will be written by Howard Brenton, the playwright who wrote the BBC series Spooks.
If you haven’t read the book, it’s set in an alternate 1960′s where the Axis powers won World War II and America has been carved up between Japan and Germany, who are engaged in a cold war. It’ll be interesting to see how close Ridley Scott stays from the original novel.
Sounds like atompunk material to me, can’t wait to see what he does with it.
