The Red Scare.
In the aftermath (sort of) of recent events I thought it would be interesting to take a look back at a dark mark on the history of America that, in my opinion, one could compare to said recent events.
Of course, McCarthyism and the Red Scare shaped much of the Atomic Age. Without the blacklisting and fear mongering that was a direct effect of it, we wouldn’t have gotten awesome sci fi movies like:
The Thing From Another World
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
